FlixFox respects its Indian user privacy and security first. We follow the DPDP Act 2023 & Rules 2026, Information Technology Act 2000 and Consumer Protection Act, 2019 under our data policies. This privacy policy details on how FlixFox collects, uses and protects your data and information when you use our streaming services (mobile-optimized website available at m.flixf. co) and the related Android APK downloads for PC’s or Android TV. Providing Complete Transparency Under This Period Of Transition We are committed to providing complete transparency under India’s nascent and evolving data protection law including during the period of transition until the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 becomes a law.

1. Data Collection: Principle of Minimization

Only absolutely necessary and non-sensitive information is collected to be able to provide perfect viewing experience for all supported services. This ultimately preserves privacy and serves to protect against over-collection, as is the case with India. The app does not store personal usage data. It strictly records limited operating information about channel categories, search terms, viewing time and offline download preferences to provide localised recommendations on what to watch next. It does not collect or store sensitive account information such as bank information and location. We use this information to optimize performance in the popular Android devices in India (model, OS version, network type, and storage space). This provides a lag-free user experience even in case of low-bandwidth areas that are available on the fringes of the city limits.

2. Anonymous Service & Data Usage

FlixFox is an anonymous service, you don't need to register and we do not monitor your personal information (your name, address, phone number or payment details). We do expected things with your information: we comply with the Indian Data laws and you have stronger privacy rights, remove local viewership data when HAVID service ends (please consent via settings menu to support Bug Fixes and Improvements), work in priority on improving Products, for example adaptation of streaming quality based on intermittent network connectivity, reduce APK size for quick download (77 Kb) or recommending adapted Content. We store your language and video quality selection in a temporary non-intrusive cookie. Tracking cookies do not follow your activity outside of FlixFox and can be removed through your browser settings without affecting core functionality, as in accordance with the DPDP withdrawal conditions.

3. Data Security, Storage & Disclosure

The data stored on servers in India is kept safe and secure through industry approved access controls, data protection measures and encryption techniques under DPDP Rules 2026 notification for localisation of cloud storage. We mitigate technical means through access restrictions, security checks and backups to your data. We retain data only for as long as required by law. We will report a data breach to India's Data Protection Board within 72 hours (as required under the DPDP Rules of 2026) and if there are affected users, notify them without undue delay. We do not rent, sell, or share Personal Information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances: responding to such request for information pursuant to a valid subpoena issued in compliance with Indian law.

4. Policy Updates & Contact Information

We may revise this policy for DPDP Rules 2026, regulatory change or product updates (like better PC to Android TV compatibility). Material changes will be communicated with an in-app popup and the updated Terms of Service will appear in the "Settings > Legal" section with the modified date.
